The Back Story

A Tale of Finding A Vampire Hunters Workshop

  • Are the components of these kits authentic?
All major pieces in each kit, including the case, date to the mid to late 19th century.
  • How do you ship these antique vampire killing kits?
We use FedEx and professionally pack each kit so it will arrive safely for you. Each kit will require a signature to ensure proper delivery. We ship domestically (United States) and internationally.
  • Do you take credit card or PayPal?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards, PayPal, bank wire transfers, personal checks, and cash.
  • - Quincey Morris is just a character in the fictional 1897 book Dracula by Bram Stoker! How can this all be real?
The kits and their contents are all very real. While the book and Quincey are fictional, the lore and history of vampires and killing or defensive vampire kits are quite real and will live on as long as humanity. We hope these kits of the highest historical quality and accurate to the book's inspiration will live on to inspire current and future collectors to learn and be inspired by the gothic horror brought to life by Bram Stoker.
  • - If I’m going to Eastern Europe or some other vampire-infested part of the world, are these kits ready for action, if needed?
While we don’t think Eastern Europe is infested with vampires (anymore), these kits should be purchased only for collector and historical purposes and not for actual use. These kits are old and filled with antique artifacts that are not guaranteed to function as they did when they were new. Simply put, we wouldn't trust our lives on these old albeit cool artifacts if an actual vampire attacks!
  • Is this a real business selling Quincy Morris vampire killing kits?
Yes! We are located in Wichita, Kansas, and have been involved with the restoration and sale of antiques for over twenty years.
  • Do I need a license or special permit to own a kit?
We encourage you to check your local laws regarding the purchase and ownership of antique weapons, such as knives and pre-1899-made firearms. Firearms made before 1899 allow for direct selling and shipping of these kits to your home or business within the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please check with us first before purchasing.
  • Are there any new or reproduced parts of these kits?
In most cases, the kits' interior lining has been restored. When needed, labels on bottles will be replaced but aged appropriately. Some bottles will be accurate modern replacements.
  • What documentation comes with each kit?
Each Quincy Morris kit will include a cabinet card-sized portrait of Morris. The photo will have a serial number and inventory of the kit's contents on the back. The serial number will be kept for future reference by collectors and historians.

A legacy of darkness through protecting & helping people.

While the internet abounds with modern-day vampire-hunting kits, few possess the authentic aura of the 19th century. Many are mere imitations, crafted from contemporary materials by unknown hands.

Quincey P. Morris, a name whispered with reverence among those versed in the occult, designed these bespoke travel companion kits during the twilight years of the 1800s. Each kit was a testament to its users unique needs and resources, a personalized arsenal against the undead.

Crafted at the cusp of an era, these kits bear the marks of time and wear. Yet, beneath the patina of age, their original purpose and potency remain undiminished. Superficial elements, such as interior linings and labels, may have been replaced or restored, but the core components—the bowie knife, the pistol, the rosary, or the mallet—are relics of a bygone era.

Each Quincey P. Morris kit is a piece of history, a numbered artifact destined for a collector's cabinet. Accompanying each kit is a cabinet card-sized portrait of the enigmatic designer himself, and the kits serial number inscribed on the reverse.

These kits were not mere fantasy; they were tools forged to combat the forces of darkness. The items within are imbued with a chilling reality, capable of inflicting both mortal and supernatural harm.

The team entrusted with the restoration, documentation, and sale of these historic relics is dedicated to preserving their legacy and ensuring that they reach those who truly understand their power and purpose.

Want To Own A Real Piece Of History?

Quincey Morris was a Texan gentleman with a drawl as smooth as a fine whiskey, and who embodied the quintessential American folk hunter. He was a man of peace and war, level-headed yet quick to action. His ever-present Bowie knife was a testament to his readiness, and his unwavering willingness to aid those in need was a beacon of hope in a world of darkness.

A lesser-known facet of Quincey's life was his side venture: crafting and supplying vampire-killing kits to American travelers venturing into the shadowy corners of Europe. These kits, a testament to his ingenuity and dedication, were a compendium of the finest tools, potent botanicals, and ingenious devices designed to thwart the undead.

Tragically, Quincey's life was cut short at the tender age of 32, a victim of the very evil he sought to eradicate. His imposing Texas ranch, a fortress of vampire-fighting paraphernalia, remained untouched for over a century, a silent guardian of his legacy. Now, as the encroaching world threatens to disturb his sanctuary, a new chapter unfolds. A team of experts tasked with preserving Quincey's memory delves into the depths of his estate, unearthing the secrets and artifacts of a man who dared to challenge the night.
